
HOUSE MANAGEMENT POLICY
ü Our club is committed to minimising liquor related harm to our customers by the adoption of harm minimisation strategies.
ü Alternative drinks to alcohol will be openly encouraged and promoted such as readily availing water at all times whilst trading.
ü Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and persons who appear to be affected by alcohol will be refused service and if necessary requested to leave.
ü Our policy is to serve customers in a responsible, friendly and professional manner to the satisfaction of our customers and neighbours.
ü The Club’s objectives are to conduct a sporting club of a social and non-political nature and to provide sporting facilities for members and guests of members and to encourage sport generally affording members and their guests all privileges a Club can afford and not for the purpose of making a profit.
ü Membership is offered to persons expressing an interest in the club and who will comply with the requirements of membership, code of conduct and the rules as contained in the Constitution.
ü The club’s objectives expressed under the terms of the constitution will be facilitated by;
o Special Business brought forward after written notice as mentioned before;
o All General Business being addressed;
o Reports of the committee being ratified and accepted;
o Minutes of all meetings being agreed to including those of AGM’s and Special Meetings;
ü Staff will not serve liquor to any juvenile or any person who appears to be intoxicated and signs will be displayed reminding customers and staff of these responsibilities.
ü The Club will ensure that the Liquor Control Act and associated Regulations in conjunction with the Policies and Procedures of the Director of Liquor Licensing will be upheld and adhered to at all times.
